Manual Handling involves any transporting or supporting of any load by one or more employees, and includes lifting, putting down, pushing, pulling, carrying, or moving a load, which by reason of its characteristics or unfavourable ergonomic conditions, involves risk, particularly of back injury, to employees. If your working day involves any of these, then you need Manual Handling Training.

  • Manual handling risk assessment T.I.L.E.
  • Manual handing injuries
  • Anatomy of the spine
  • The basic principle of safe lifting
  • Manual handling demonstration

Duration of one to two hours

Training can be done on site or at our premise which is conveniently located just outside Longford town on the Athlone Road.

Course Outcome
Upon successful completion of this course the trainee will received an operator identity card with certification. Valid for three years.
